Started as a commuter carrier using Beech Queen Airs. Eventually the route system stretched from New England to the Carolinas. After the 1981 air traffic control strike, it developed a hub and spoke system around Philadlphia. The privately owned airline fell into financial difficulties and lost $34 million in its last two years. They ceased operations on November 9, 1982.
